Russian sauna, or banya is a classic Slavic steam bath, and it is common in old Russian villages alongside the Peipus. Its stove is different from classic Finnish sauna, and it takes a full day to heat this sauna up to achieve consistent heat that is deep and mild at the same time.
Our sauna is straight on the beach, so it is possible to cool down in the water in just a few steps. Sauna fits 6 people in the front room and 3 people in the hot room at the same time.
Please keep in mind that this a traditional building that survived several generations, and as such has no shower - you would have to wash yourself from a bowl, old school.
Ordering this type of sauna needs a warning at least 24h ahead.
